IEM Gamescom day two recap

Day two of IEM Gamescom has come to an end, with EnVyUs continuing their perfect start to the tournament.
After an exciting opening day that saw EnVyUs and SK Gaming hold on to their lives, day two kicked off with a mouth-watering clash between Team SoloMid and CLG on de_train.
The North American team came into the match determined to bounce back from their defeat in the opening match and secured a 10-5 lead after playing on the CT side. However, Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men picked themselves up and overcame the deficit to secure their second win in Cologne.

EnVyUs entered their match against CLG looking to extend their winning run in the tournament after picking up two wins during the first day. The North American team gave Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer's a run for their money, but in the end the Frenchmen ran out 16-13 victors to leave CLG on the brink of elimination.

mousesports had given strong showings against Renegades and EnVyUs, but they were simply outplayed by TSM on de_dust2, which shows that Fatih "gob b" Dayik's side still have some work to do to become more consistent.
